Hardware Designer - Baseband , Bangalore - Cisco

Roles and responsibilities
Responsible for defining the Base station and Access point hardware subsystem and platform definition
Shall take lead role for documentation for ETRD, Schematics finalization, BOM, Mechanical design and Thermal design
Shall be responsible for reviewing the hardware design for Access point and base station baseband for compliance with the ETRD and Product requirement specifications
Shall be responsible for cost optimization for the product, identifying alternate components
Shall define hardware test requirements and shall be responsible for reviewing the test reports for product acceptance and qualifications
Shall be responsible for support of the product in the field including Failure Analysis
Shall interact with chipset vendors to identify key components for the hardware design
Shall contribute towards RFP reviews
Expertise in Hardware System Design Design of Baseband boards, Mixed signal designs, Clock design for Cellular Base stations and Access points
Expertise in highspeed design, Microprocessors, DSPs, Memories, Ethernet PHY, high performance clocking devices, ADC/DACs
Expertise in design tools and test equipment Schematics design, PCB layout, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzer, Traffic generators
Expertise in low power designs for Access points
Exposure to Ethernet, WiFi, LTE/HSPA/WiMAX/GSM/CDMA technologies
Exposure to Mechanical design for Indoor and outdoor base stations and access points
Experienced in Product design cycle including product sustenance
Exposure to customer and vendor interaction

MSEE+ 12yrs of Exp/ BSEE+14YRS of relevent experience
